Jake Roth-US PRESSWIRE

The Jacksonville Jaguars have a handfull of impending free agents on their offense, is anyone a "must keep"?

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a team that's in need of a rebuild, but they're also a team that at the end of the season are in position for a roster overhaul. The Jaguars will have quite a few players hit the free agent market at the end of the season.

Here's a quick rundown of the players on the defensive side of the ball that will be free agents:

  • LB Daryl Smith
  • CB Derek Cox
  • CB William Middleton
  • DE John Chick
  • DE George Selvie
  • DT Terrance Knighton
  • LB Kyle Bosworth
  • CB Rashean Mathis
  • S Chris Harris

Like the offensive side of the ball, I don't really see any "must keep" players for a rebuilding effort outside of Derek Cox, which becomes tricky. Cox is a young ascending player, but he struggles to stay on the field and has missed 17 of his last 40 games. The question becomes how much do you pay him? Do you franchise tag him, with about a $10 million hit?
