Shipley led all AFC rookies with 52 receptions for 600 yards in 2010.
The Jaguars announced the signing of three-year wide receiver Jordan Shipley on Tuesday afternoon, along with the decision to waive fullback Will Ta'ufo'ou to make room on the roster.
Shipley, 26, was a third-round selection by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2010 NFL Draft after a productive college career that included two touchdown receptions in the 2010 BCS National Championship Game. As a rookie, Shipley led all AFC rookies with 52 receptions for 600 yards receiving and added three touchdowns. However, he had a season-ending knee injury during Week 2 of the 2011 season.
After struggles to return from the injury, Shipley was waived by the Bengals during the preseason and was claimed by the Buccaneers. He appeared in one game for Tampa Bay, but was released after he fumbled a punt return in his debut game with the Bucs.
Ta'ufo'ou appeared in three games for the Jaguars in 2012, but did not record a statistic.
