The Jacksonville Jaguars have seemed to have settled on two of their starting wide receivers in Cecil Shorts III and rookie first-round pick Justin Blackmon. Outside of those two however, the "third receiver" in the Jaguars offense has been a revolving door.

To begin the season it was Mike Thomas, who continued to disappoint and then was shipped off to the Detroit Lions before the trade deadline. Thomas wasn't really effective at all and was never targeted.

When Laurent Robinson went down early in the season, undrafted rookie Kevin Elliott took a lot of his reps on the field, but looked a bit in over his head as rookie. Elliott has a lot of potential as a down-the-line type of player, but his snaps went down as Robinson made his way back on the field.

The Jaguars signed Michael Spurlock to handle return duties and play a little slot wide receiver after the Thomas trade and he's settled in, but with the signing of Jordan Shipley who know's how long he'll play the slot. Shipley has history with Jaguars offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski.
