Chad Henne threw an interception on his first pass, but completed his next six to help the Jaguars to an early lead.
With 15:00 left on the clock in the first quarter, Chad Henne was on his back after he was hit during an encroachment penalty. A few seconds later, a tipped ball turned into an interception for the Titans. Despite the all-too-familiar start for the Jaguars, the team bounced back and lead at the end of the first quarter, 7-3.
The Jaguars defense forced three-and-outs on each of the first two possessions of the game for the Titans, holding Jake Locker without a completion in the quarter.
Henne recovered from his early interception by completing his next six passes, including three to Marcedes Lewis for a combined 49 yards. At the end of the quarter, Henne led the offense down the field for a drive that finished with a one-yard touchdown by Rashad Jennings.
Jennings is taking the majority of the snaps at running back for the Jaguars after Jalen Parmele limped off the field after his first carry.
