Jaguars vs. Dolphins final score: Jacksonville loses 24-3...it's all bad

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

10 penalties for the Jaguars in Week 15 is another bad sign for the future of head coach Mike Mularkey.

Another week...another loss. It has become unsurprising and expected by Week 15 and a 24-3 loss to the subpar Miami Dolphins was no different. Everything went wrong for the Jaguars and the future can't look bright for coach Mike Mularkey after the team tied its season high with 10 penalties.

Had it not been for a bizarre fake field goal attempt or multiple mistakes by the Dolphins offense that resulted in the home team settling for field goals rather than touchdowns, the score actually could've been worse. But if the Jaguars hadn't failed to convert three fourth down attempts deep in Miami territory, the story could've been different for them as well.

The Jaguars were able to move the ball in the first half, but couldn't convert that in to points. And while the defense was able to hang with the Dolphins in the first half, multiple long drives in the second half sapped the defense of any momentum that it carried into the game.

With two games to play against the Patriots and Titans, the Chiefs games seem just important as the Jaguars' at this point.
