The Jaguars made nine roster moves on Tuesday, including placing second-round defensive end Andre Branch on the injured reserve, the team announced. Running back Jordan Todman was also placed on injured reserve and wide receiver Quan Cosby was released.
The three open roster spots were filled by three players promoted from the practice squad: Wide receiver Mike Brown, linebacker Brandon Marshall and tight end Isaiah Stanback. Rounding out the roster moves, the Jaguars signed offensive lineman Tommie Draheim and wide receiver Brittan Golden to the practice squad.
Prior to the list of roster moves, the Jaguars had 52 players on the active roster, one fewer than the maximum of 53 players, and nine on the practice squad. Following the moves, the Jaguars have 52 on the active roster and eight on the practice squad.
Branch started in three games as a rookie, recording just one sack, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
