Former Jaguars wide receiver Kevin Elliott has been added to the Bills practice squad.

The Jacksonville Jaguars waived rookie wide receiver Kevin Elliott last week to the surprise of many. The belief is that Elliott's drops and mistakes in games had led to the coaching staff getting fed up, but most fans questioned the move and wondering if he may be added to the Jaguars practice squad.

Elliott cleared waivers over the weekend, but he has been signed to the Buffalo Bills practice squad, according to Adam Caplan of The Sideline View.

Elliott was originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of FAMU and made the team mostly on his special teams merit. In training camp, Elliott had wowed a lot of fans with his ability to get open down the football field and make some acrobatic catches, but that never really translated onto the football field during the regular season.

Elliott presented a lot of upside, but may have been rushed into action too early because of the overall lack of depth at the position for the Jaguars.
