At 2-9 and well out of playoff reach, there still isn't much intrigue for the Jaguars as far as winning is concerned. However, there is certainly going to be interest to see the play of defensive end Jason Babin. Just a few days after he was claimed off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles, the veteran DE will start in the place of Austen Lane.
It wouldn't be surprising to see Babin get plenty of opportunities to rush the passer against the Bills either, as both Derek Cox and Rashean Mathis will be out of the starting lineup and instead replaced by Aaron Ross and Mike Harris. While Cox is out of the game entirely, Mathis is active and will play in a reserve role.
On offense, the Jaguars will look to find the continued passing success that the team has had in recent weeks with Chad Henne at the helm. Wide receiver Cecil Shorts III needs just 253 yards receiving in the last five games of the season to become the first Jaguars receiver since Jimmy Smith to surpass 1,000 yards in a season.
