The Jaguars and Bills played a relatively even first half, but it was the home team that earned a 17-10 lead at halftime in Buffalo.
After giving up a 51-yard pass play in the first quarter that set up the first touchdown of the game, the Jaguars recovered with a pair of scores of its own to take a 10-7 lead. It could've been more had Cameron Bradfield not picked up a 15-yard penalty that took away field position inside the five-yard line and instead led to a 36-yard field goal for Josh Scobee.
The miscues for the Jaguars offense continued in the final minutes of the second half, as Chad Henne fumbled away a possession when Mario Williams slapped at his arm after getting around Bradfield on the right side. That set up a 29-yard field goal for Ryan Lindell before the half.
Henne hasn't been very good for the Jaguars, but he also hasn't been helped out much by the receiving corps that have had some drops early. At the half, Henne has completed 5-of-15 passes for 86 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.
