A pick six and punt return touchdown for the Titans gave them a lead late in the first half.
Although the Jaguars dominated most of the first half, they enter the locker room trailing the Tennessee Titans at halftime, 21-14, after Chad Henne threw an interception that was returned by Zach Brown 79 yards for a touchdown and Darius Reynaud returned a punt 69 yards for a touchdown.
After allowing a touchdown on the opening possession of the game, the Jaguars held Jake Locker and the Titans in check for the remainder of the first half, including some highlight plays from Paul Posluszny and Austen Lane. The Titans did, however, blow several opportunities to connect in the passing game.
The Jaguars found some success early passing, as Henne completed eight consecutive passes early and found Jordan Shipley and Justin Blackmon for touchdowns. On a third drive that could've put the Jaguars up two touchdowns, Henne hit Brown in the middle of the field. It was the fourth Titans defender to get his hands on a pass from Henne, but the first to actually be caught by a defender.
Justin Blackmon finished the first half with five receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown.
