We all have seen the difficulty our team has had putting a consistent product of Nfl caliber football on the field this year. Hopefully this year the offseason and a new Gm change we will make us able to contend or at least finish at or above .500. I believe a switch to the 3-4 is inevitable due to its success in our division and the league as a whole. This is how I see our offseason playing out starting with the front office. FIRING GENE SMITH he is to blame as much as anyone for this terrible season he has not found the right personnel through the draft free agency or any phases his job oversees. Our team has been surpassed by teams with competent Gm's. I don't think it'll happen this year but mularkey could very well be out i'd like to see us try to get kyle shanahan and possibly bring Kirk cousins, andy reid, or even Chip kelly are head coaches i wouldn't mind.

I see us getting Tom Gamble and he'll most likely bring in a new coaching staff he may even be able to bring alex smith whether he is the answer or not well see. I'm hoping we change to a 3-4 or at least add new players to our very stagnant 4-3 Conner Barwin would be a free agent this year and we should target him. Sebastion vollmer would be a good addition because of our offensive lines struggles and if we were able to get andy levitre that'd be a major upgrade since he is very durable. Henry melton could take the spot of either of our interior d linemen whom have been abysmal stopping anything through the middle this year. If we were able to pick up avril,vollmer,melton,levitre i feel as though both of our lines would be good. Our lines are our biggest faults on the team we have no pass rush or pass protection and it has really shown the importance of a line in the nfl. Our secondary has been sub par if we were able to sign laron landry i think it would improve with him playing next to his brother or even sign dashon goldson although he's unlikely. Derek cox has the ability but he's made off glass but I say we should still resign him.

Now onto the draft 1st rd if we don't trade down with a team i'd see us taking jarvis jones or dion jordan both of whom i'd love to see in a 3-4 defense. The 2nd rd we could take a qb like mike glennon, or another wolf pack product David amerson if we don't draft a pass rusher in the 1st i could also see us taking Margus Hunt from SMU. 3rd round andre ellington would be a good change of pace to MJD 4th rd Trey burton would be great right here he is very versatile he could play TE,FB,RB. Jordan Reed or Joseph Fauria would be a good pick in the 5th we have little depth at TE after marcedes lewis. Khaled Holmes with our other 5th rd pick from trading mike thomas would be a great pick if he's still available since brad meester is on the decline. Marcus Davis is a big receiver we could possibly get in the 6th rd. Sheldon price CB UCLA in the 7th would be a good pick he has good size and reminds me a lot of Cox.
