The Jacksonville Jaguars enter Sunday's home game against the New York Jets as 2.5 point underdogs.
The Jacksonville Jaguars head back home to EverBank Field to take on the New York Jets on Sunday and enter the game as 2.5 point underdogs. It will be a surprise if the Jaguars are favored in any of their games going forward, but even for the Jets the line seems a bit low. The Jaguars frankly don't match up well with the Jets, even with Mark Sanchez at starting quarterback.

The Jaguars are bad against the run and the pass defensively and also give up nearly 30 points per game, which puts a lot of stress on an offense that has struggled to score points. The Jets are one of the best teams against the pass defensively, so it could be tough sledding for Chad Henne and company, especially if Cecil Shorts III isn't available and the defense gives up points.
The Jets defense is poor against the run, but the Jaguars haven't been able to run the football effectively even against bad defenses. This has the potential to be another game at home that can get out of hand quickly for the Jaguars if they're not able to get stops and score points early on.
Here's what the OddsShark staff had to say about the game:
The Jacksonville Jaguars are just 1-5 SU and ATS in their last six games at home, and will try to pick up a rare home win when they host the New York Jets this Sunday at EverBank Field. New York is 2-5 SU in its last seven games on the road. Jacksonville is 5-2 SU and 6-1 ATS in its last seven games against the New York Jets. The total has gone OVER in three of their last four meetings.
