Editor Note: When I put out the ad for contributors to add to Big Cat Country, I was approached by a Jacksonville Jaguars fan from Mexico City, Mexico. He was interested in writing some articles in spanish, as he noted that Mexico is a fast growing NFL country but there is a severe lack of online content in spanish. I invited Issachar to contribute once a week in spanish, and during the season he will translate each weeks Game Preview into spanish. I'm curious as to they type of response we'll get, so if you speak spanish... Enjoy!

Just google transslatedit
Despite starting as an expansion team in the NFL in 1995, the Jacksonville Jaguars had great seasons (2 division championships and six appearances in the playoffs) and were generally considered a tough opponent to beat. Even the Jaguars in 1999 are considered one of the best teams in history have not won a Super Bowl.
Unfortunately since 2000, the Jaguars could not be a team and have been constant over the joys disappointment for his fans. It started as an alleged salary cap problems, and then resulted in a restructuring process that never yielded the expected results.
However, this 2012, has been named as the “rebirth” of the franchise. So, are fans of the team or not, I suggest these reasons to keep from this moment the history of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
A new direction for the franchise
Since January this year, Shahid Khan is the new owner of the team and many fans really doubt that you are committed to keeping the team in Jacksonville.
In my opinion. They have nothing to worry about. The purchase contract has enough locks to move the team in the near future and also Khan has spoken of plans not only for the Jaguars, but also for the city of Jacksonville. Now with Mark Lamping as president, at least the decisions are not related to football seem to be in good hands and promises to be the benefit to the fan.
A new in-command
After making the playoffs in 2007, head coach Jack Del Rio was a fairly lucrative contract extension, but in subsequent seasons, the Jaguars never got closer to the playoffs, almost always melting in recent matches regular season. That to me is a clear sign of a poorly coached team.
From this season, Mike Mularkey, a former offensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons, along with a new team full of experienced coaches will be responsible for giving the team a new face.
It is often said that the Jaguars always play with heart, but that’s not enough, and it is time that this heart is matched. Will soon see these results?
Players in free agency
Generally, the Jaguars are not known for spending large sums of money in free agency. Last year, however, were quite aggressive and managed to get good players on defense.
This time, having a No. 1 wide receiver and defensive end to rush the passer constantement are the most needed equipment and both Shad Khan, as general manager Gene Smith, have said publicly they will do everything possible to meet those needs before the draft. The salary cap is not a problem this year, so surely we will see the Jaguars move quickly and quietly back into this free agency. Something tells me that the receivers Marques Colston and Vincent Jackson and defensive end Mario Williams are being targeted. Thus, it is, at least one player will Jacksonville popularity at the next free agent.
The Draft 2012
Many mocks have gone by various experts, and most have the Jaguars selecting with the No. 10 overall defensive end Quinton couplings.
In my opinion, if a firm Jacksonville defensive end and one or two wide receivers in free agency, Jacksonville:
a) Select and Quinton Morris Claiborne Couplings (if available)
b) Share your selection with another team to move down and get the best player available (I feel they will go for a receiver in the second round)
The QB Blaine Gabbert Development
From Mark Brunell, the Jaguars have not had a franchise QB (yes, long ago).
Gene Smith opted for Blaine Gabbert in last year’s draft, which many experts as a candidate to be selected No. 1 overall. Unfortunately, the work stoppage in the NFL, having gone from the team’s No. 3 QB to be the starter in a heartbeat, lack of air weapons and have been the youngest QB in history to have played 14 games as a starter, took bill.
Gabbert clearly was not ready to start, and is feared to have lost some confidence for next season, but if we see it from another point of view, if strong enough emotionally, Blaine has gained invaluable experience playing only obtained and is fair to say that deserves a second chance.
We’ll see you can do with all the off-season practices, a head coach and offensive mind a team of decent receivers. Gene Smith’s work is completely tied to the outcome is good.
Media
Outside our All-Pro player Maurice Jones-Drew, the fact that the Jaguars did not enroll in the 2010 draft Tim Tebow, and of course the success of Cam Newton and Andy Dalton compared the failure of Gabbert, the Jaguars have little or no presence in the media.
How can I change that? Only winning games. And just ask the Bills in 2011, although they lasted just a taste.
The media loves to teams ashen, and Jacksonville Jaguars could be one of them next year. That if … much will depend on Blaine Gabbert.

Does it go the other way too?
A spanish speaking person could translate all the articles into spanish?
I fully support the idea of NFL being big internationally, and its nice to have BCC and the Jaguars be a part of that, in any shape or fashion.

It's really not that bad of a translation. I understood it after reading slowly.

If you translate things literally then this is what you get
its the same deal with any language. Its a solid translation IMO, its not like its Charlie Kellys Dream Book.
Great idea Alfie
I know this was not the intent as BCC is not affiliated with the Jaguars, but this is kind of in line with Khan’s goal of making the Jaguars a global brand. Little things like this can grow the Jacksonville Jaguars and grow BCC as well. Heck, maybe this can open up some site sponsorships.
Once more, this is evidence of folks thinking outside the box and not being afraid to step outside of their comfort zone.
Kudos, Alfie.

Gran relato.
Saludos!

Tremenda idea Alfie.
I have been following the Jags since I moved to Jax “3yrs ago”. I am Puerto Rican so I am fluent. I’ve always had that in mind to come up with some sort of Jags spanish blog. Great idea Alfie!
Excelente!!

This truly is a great idea.
But with illiteracy rates as they are, it’s might be advantageous to also have an audible version of BCC. I would like to volunteer my services to read aloud all BCC articles. I can provide my own microphone that screen thingy. But, I must insist on pronouncing Garrard’s last name as “Gerrard”. That is non-negotiable.
I would take it as an insult if you didn't troll me on Twitter @JagsTom
I’ll have my people call your people.
