Mike Mularkey's Son Arrested for Cocaine Possession
The younger of Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey's two sons, Shane Mularkey, was arrested on charges of cocaine possession along with two others early Friday morning, according to police. Mularkey, 21, was one of three UNC at Chapel Hill students found just after 1 a.m. on Friday where police say the three appeared to be using cocaine.
Shane Mularkey formerly played linebacker for the UNC Tarheels, contributing mostly on special teams, but quit the team following a shoulder surgery in May. He is the younger brother of Patrick Mularkey, who announced as strength coach for the Jaguars on January 27 after spending two seasons as a scouting assistant.
Via Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union, Jaguars owner Shahid Khan has released a statement regarding the arrest:
"I expressed to Mike that I share his concern for his son and the situation, and I let Mike know he has my personal support. It has no bearing on the respect and trust I have for Mike as the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. We simply hope for the best for Mike and his family."

Stereotype much? Justifying something?

The police may have just saved his life.

It's like they have a war on drugs, instead of a war on poverty.
I think it’s just so the cops can bother me.

COLLEGE!!!
But in seriousness and in the words of Rick James “Cocaine is a helluva drug.” Hopefully kid learned his lesson.
Thats too bad,
this is the sort of thing that should be dealt with by the family behind closed doors, that it happened to someone who is indirectly famous and gets made public is unfortunate for Mike’s family.

That really sucks
Drug addicts really tear families apart.
Please give the Mularkey's
The privacy, space and prayers that they will need to deal with this unfortunate situation.

Hey man....we all have addictions (sex, drugs, alcohol, money, fame, acceptance, w/e). His just happens to be illegal in the states. Praying for the Mularkey family, that they work through it and get him in a good program soon.

I'm surprised we're not hearing a lot of noise from haters from other fansites
Baseless ignorant comments about how the Jaguars are thugs.
I really think the image-change is sticking in Jacksonville.
