After a little thinking i have decided to do a few scenarios in which the Jaguars are able to trade back to allow us to get more picks. The First of these is the Seahawk Scenario, enjoy.
As of late most of the mock drafts i've seen here at BCC have us trading down with Seattle so they can get Texas A&M Quarterback Ryan Tannehill. With the new that the Redskins have traded up to the #2 spot they will undoubtedly take RG3, which helps our scenario, but we still need a few more things to happen.
1) The Arizona Cardinals need to get Peyton Manning. This would put stress on the Seahawks to get their Franchise QB if they want to compete in a division with the 49er's and the Cardinals.
2) It would be helpful if Packers back up QB, Matt Flynn, goes to Cleveland. This should keep Cleveland from taking Tannehill at #4 and would put even more stress on the Seahawks because the Dolphins who also need a franchise guy pick right after us. Granted if the Browns or the Fins get Flynn it does not guarantee they won't take Tannehill to allow the young, raw QB to gain some experience, it is just highly unlikely.
If the 2 above things happen, so long as GM Gene Smith sees this (which I assume he would) this then allows us to trade down and still get either a WR, CB, OL, or a DE, like Melvin Ingram (who so many people now have us drafting.)
