GS should be let go
It has nothing to do with not making splash in the first couple of hours. But, it does have to do with his bone head decisions. For example, let’s let the one, player we should have resigned on the DL test the market so that we can keep a player like Aaron kampman on the roster? Does that sound like smart business? Or how about not showing players that we mean business and are extremely interested in them. Buffalo? Really? How does a team like that beat us to the punch on the first visit for Williams? If our intentions were not to sign mincey back, he should have been the first player contacted. We honestly shouldn’t be taking no for an answer with the kind of bankroll we have this year. Randy Moss for less than 2 million for one year, as well as Lloyd for a 4th round pick last year. The guy has no business savvy.
Between m80,jerret Dillard and tiquan underwood he has been an awful offensive drafter. They are all underwhelming. His Tory holt addition really taught the youngsters a bunch of mularky. Drafting a division 2 qb to be a TE has panned out perfectly too. Miller hasn’t and most likely won’t ever play a full season in the NFL. Just to keep the hate train going we didn’t even draft an offensive player in ‘10 draft. But he thought kassim osgood was the fix to our offensive and special teams needs? I just don’t follow his logic. He turns down a 1 year extension saying he didn’t deserve it but 3 consecutive losing games later he signs a 3 year extension??? I don’t see what he felt he deserved? From the outside looking in it really seems to look like we as fans are getting sandbagged by this guy. We still have hope in signing some top players but history tends to make me think that’s really not an option for GS.
