Free agency started and they have only resigned their own players from last year’s 5-11 team and have WR Laurent Robinson and QB Chad Henne in for a visit this morning. Until about 10:00pm last night there were questions from fans as to if the Jags knew free agency started yesterday at 4:00pm.

Day two of free agency starts and there is still a need at DE and WR. Most of the top WRs are off the board and Mario Williams is the best and pretty much only option left at DE if you want an upgrade. There is some thinking that they will draft a DE and WR in the first 2 rounds. With so much cap room why not go after Marion Williams? Williams is in Buffalo and is expected to leave there and visit other teams. However, Williams was seen leaving the Bills medical facility after completing a physical. This could mean he will sign with the Bills. The Jaguars are rumored to be pursuing Williams, but nothing is confirmed.

Yes, Jags fans are angry, and they have a right to be angry. Jaguar fans sat around and watched as other teams made the splash that we all hoped the Jaguars would make. Khan said the team would spend in free agency, but since then Gene Smith has indicated otherwise. There are some Jags fans that are taking the approach of this was just the first day, wait and see what the team does. There are still some good moves that can be made.
