Down on the Laurent Robinson Signing??

Are you the one who thinks this isnt enough and we should have been more aggressive?? Well im not here to say you are right or wrong.. Im here to put some perspective on the sign and Maybe just Maybe help you be more rational and accepting. HAHA .... SMH

Once opon a time there was a receiver. He was 6'1", 213lbs. and ran a 4.45 in his combine forty. He was drafted in the second round by none other than the Cowboys. After a few seasons and more injuries he was cut by Jerry Jones and deemed Injury prone and to short/ not fast enough to be elite. The Jaguars Gave him a shot and this "slot" receiver ended up playing lights out. In his second season with the Jaguars he Gave the coaches No Choice but to make him a starter. The first game he was named the starter the Jaguars started a 7 game winning streak that gave them their first Playoff birth. We all know what happend after. He ended up being the best wideout this franchise has ever seen. We havent been able to replace him. His name is Jimmy Smith.

Fast forward to present Day. The Jaguars have Managed to sign a Receiver that is 6'2" 199lbs. He ran a 4.33 in his combine 40. he was drafted in the second round by the Falcons, had a few injurys but some how made the best of it and had a great year with the Cowboys Last year. He was mainly a "slot" guy for them but played as a starter many times due to injury to other wideouts. His name is Laurent Robinson.

We dont know if Robinson is the next Smith but he is taller and faster and more proven that Jimmy was. He also has been given a chance off his athletic ability just like Smith was at the time of his Joining the Jaguars. Laurent Robinson is everything we want in a receiver. Fast, good hands, Young, deep threat, redzone threat, playmaker..

He has everything to prove and he wants to... Lets be happy okay?
