The Jags "better" have some interest in signing Wimbley. We need a another DE opposite Mincey & Wimbley would be a great addition. The only 2 DE's that make sense considering we lost out on Mario would be Wimbley & the future release of Freeney.

Another thing that strikes me is why we haven't even considered Mario Manningham..?? He plays great ball & makes those acrobatic catches, where are the Jags on this one? If we go into the draft with our best receiver being newly signed Robinson, that would be scary. Unless of course we trade down, acquire more picks, & trade for Wallace. Manningham &/or Lloyd make sense at this point. It's silly to think that a rookie receiver or pass-rusher can come in right away, get thrown into action & make "that" much of an impact. Btw, Eric Winston is a fine lineman, we need that position addressed within a year or so, why not make it happen now.

This is year 4 of Gene's tenure, & many have said that this was gonna be a 5yr rebuild ("retool"), so I'm just blinded by the amount of talent that was there & how seemingly Gene Smith seemed unprepared. One can only wonder...
