Jaguars want to be subject of HBO's 'Hard Knocks' | jacksonville.com

As "Hard Knocks" prepares for its return to HBO this summer, the Jaguars have expressed interest in being the subject of the behind-the-scenes show that follows NFL teams. "We did express interest, and at this point we don’t know what HBO’s plans are," Jaguars spokesman Dan Edwards said.

As Adam Schein indicated on the bottom of this piece, the Jaguars have told the people who will choose a team for "Hard Knocks" that they are interested in hosting HBO this summer. It would be a smart move for the Jaguars but I’d guess HBO feels it can do "better." The team can use all the exposure it can get. But it’s hardly filled with the type of personalities that carried the last edition of the show, when the Jets were the subject in 2010. (There was no show in 2011 thanks to the lockout.)
