There has been many speculation that the Jaguars will trade down from their no. 7 overall pick in this year's draft. People have us trading with the Jets, Eagles, Bengals, and Cardinals, and other teams. If we do trade down, 2 of the most sensible picks would be to draft Whitney Mercilus, DE of Illinois, or Nick Perry, DE of Southern California. But before we get into any of this, I would like to point out I would draft Mercilus in the mid-teens to late-teens. I think he has a great motor and never gives up on a play. However, I would be fine with Perry too.

In the video, Perry shows great ability to get after the quarterback and even force fumbles.

Whitney isn't as strong as I would like him to be, but has good height at 6"4 and good weight at 280 pounds.

Again, I would be okay with either pick if we DO trade down with the Jets, Eagles, Browns, Bengals, etc.
