The talk of Stephon Gilmore going to the Jaguars has continued to heat up among draftniks and the re-evaluation of his game tape has led many analysts to rocket him up their draft boards. In Greg Cosell's latest mock draft based purely on tape evaluation rather than a projection of how teams will pick he even had Gilmore at 3rd overall to the Vikings.

Amidst all the Gilmore talk, the fact that the Jaguars still very much need a defensive end. A need they address in SBNation's latest mock:

7. Jacksonville Jaguars, Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina

You can never have too many pass rushers, and Ingram looks like the best in the class. He pairs nicely with Jeremy Mincey on the other side. Jacksonville would love to trade out of this spot, and some team might be willing to move up for Ingram or other players.

The question is going to come down to whether or not the Jaguars believe Ingram is a fit in their 4-3 defensive scheme. The Charlotte Observer has reported that the Panthers view Ingram as strictly a 3-4 outside linebacker and it's certainly possible that the Jaguars could view the 6-2, 264 pounder similarly.
