Jaguars director of player personnel Terry McDonough joined Pete Prisco on his radio show today to talk about the NFL Draft and, while he didn't reveal much important information with just two days before the first round of the draft, he did take time to refute reports from NFL.com's Michael Lombardi (who?) and Sports Illustrated's Peter King.
"Nobody knows who we like," said McDonough in response to reports of Jaguars interests.
King most notably was the first to set off a slew of mock drafts with the Jaguars taking South Carolina cornerback Stephon Gilmore when he said that they like him "a ton" and mocked Gilmore to the Jaguars at the seventh pick. Lombardi added to the sentiment by saying the Jaguars like Gilmore more than LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne.
McDonough also commented on reports that the Jaguars are interested in trading down saying, "Yeah, it's no secret" and later adding that everyone knows Miami is going to take Texas A&M Ryan Tannehill and "if a team wants a QB they need to come and get in front of Miami."
