NFL Draft Report: Jags Willing To Trade Up For Trent Richardson, or maybe Blackmon

some_text

Welcome to draft day, 2012, where everything is a lie with the always possible sprinkle of truth.....maybe. As fans, we are stuck in fascination. Do you know what I mean? We are like children watching a commercial dryer for the first time. We're all trying to make sense of it, but we can't do it.

Rotoworld linked in an Adam Schefter report that just may help us make some sense.

Updating a previous item, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the trade-up target is Oklahoma State WR Justin Blackmon.

"The Jaguars would love to find a way to get Justin Blackmon," Schefter reported. The seriousness of Jacksonville's interest in moving up is unclear, but Schefter reports Jaguars GM Gene Smith is aware that Blackmon will not be available at the No. 7 overall pick. In order to secure this year's top-rated wide receiver, the Jaguars would have to leapfrog the Rams pick at No. 6.

The previous item stated the Jags were gaga (not Lady) for Alabama RB Trent Richardson. Who knows? It's draft day and only a few more hours until GM Gene Smith surprises us Jags fans. You know he will.
