If any Jags fans aren't happy after last nights pick of Justin Blackmon, which it seems like there's very few, just think what could have happened. Just think if they would have stayed at 7 and chose the player who was chosen at that spot, Mark Barron. The fan base would be up in arms. Or what if they took Fletcher Cox, probably a good enough player, but wouldn't have caused much excitement with the fans. They could have reached for Mercilus or even Coples. I wasn't sold on Blackmon or even the prospect of drafting a wide receiver that high, but after watching more film, I'm sold and this was the best pick by Gene Smith, hands down. One more thing, the lone fact that Jeff Fisher and the Rams wanted Blackmon and we snatched him right in front of them, makes this pick even sweeter.
