The NFL apparel officially switched over from Reebok to Nike over the weekend, which means that teams will be getting brand new jerseys. For the most part, teams will be keeping relatively the same jersey with some minor tweaks. Nike unveiled their new uniform tweaks on Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET, including this new Jacksonville Jaguars jersey.
Here is what they look like.
As you can see, the jersey is nearly identical to the Jaguars 2011 jerseys. Gone is the Reebok logo replaced with the Nike Swoosh and some of the piping seems to have been fixed. You can also see the Jaguars have the new black alternate jersey they will wear a couple of times during the 2012 NFL season.
The Jaguars will have completely new uniforms for the 2013 season, but I do not think those will be revealed until next spring. According to some Jaguars players, they do have input on the jerseys and Uche Nwaneri described them on Facebook as "think Oregon but on steroids."
