First time poster, long time Jags fan here,
To get away from mock drafts a little...
nfl.com has Jacksonville rated as the worst team heading into the 2013 season on their latest power rankings. I just don't see why everyone is so down on the Jags. With a top 6 defence and the top running back (in my biased opinion) in the league, it should be harder to rank the Jags as low as they are. D'Anthony Smith claims to be at full health while Austin Lane seems to be improving, which will improve the d-line. It has also been revealed that Gabbert had a nagging toe injury all season. The injury doesn't completely nullify the the bad play but having the worst receiving corps in the NFL (IMO) does to an extent. I just think that with a solid draft and another strong year by the defence, there is no way the Jags should regress.
Is there something that I am missing, or is everyone just hating on the Jags again?
