Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Justin Blackmon took part in this past weekends three-day rookie mini-camp. Blackmon was held out of the final day of practice however, dealing with what the team is calling a sore foot.
"We saw what we needed to see," Mularkey said to reporters after practice. "We got a good chance to install and be around him, and him be around us. We just thought it would be smart on our part and on his part if we held him out of the drills and had him ready when OTAs start here in about eight days."
As Mularkey said, it appears to be just a precautionary thing with Blackmon, but it's easy for Jaguars fans to be concerned, given the past regimes cryptic minor injurie's turning into major injuries.
"He was just sore and we just felt like, ‘Was it worth the risk? Why push it any more?" Mularkey said after practice.
