Today was scheduled to be the last of the 10 offseason training activities (OTAs) for the Jaguars before mini-camp in the coming weeks, but when the team showed up for practice Mike Mularkey surprised the team with a trip to go paintballing.
"They’ve earned a chance to get away from the stadium and the field and go enjoy a little bit of something different off-site," Mularkey said. "Be together and be with the coaches, do a little paintball adventure. I just thought they’ve earned it. The guys really dedicated themselves to come in here and committed themselves and done everything the right way. I just told them when they do things the right way good things come to you. So I felt like this was a good time for us to get away from football and go have a little fun together."
The Jaguars will return to practice for a three day mini-camp June 12-14 that will be open to the public.
