Obviously we know MOJO wants a new contract. We also know that he is getting paid less than Arian Foster, Adrian Peterson, and Steven Jackson. In which most believe MOJO is better than at least two of those 3. But why would Gene Smith and Kahn not give the franchise player what he wants? Well at the end of this year we have about 4 players that we ar obviously not going to want to lose. Daryl Smith, Derek Cox, Terrance Knighton, and Greg Jones. You have to pick one. Maurice Jones-Drew or 4 players that are core to our team. We probably wont keep every single one, but does Jones-Drew have the patience to wait another year?? I believe when all is said and done, MOJO will be there for opening game because i dont believe he is anything like Chris Johnson and will come to prove he deserves that contract that he wants.
