A bright spot for the 2011 Jacksonville Jaguars was their top 10 ranked defense. The team was a solid unit all around, despite the fact that the offense kept them on the field for much of the game. For the Jaguars defense, it was predominantly one of those "team efforts" without a true star, but one of the Jaguars units is particularly good.

"Three for three, our starting group when it's out there, I think it's one of the better groups in the NFL," Jaguars general manager Gene Smith told The Florida Times-Union.

Starting linebackers Paul Posluszny and Daryl Smith are two of the top 4-3 linebackers in the league and both could potentially make the Pro Bowl and the team has some great depth in a player like Russell Allen.

"We'll have a battle whether we keep five or six," Smith said. "The two rookies have done some very good things out there."
