There wasn't a whole lot of news on the Jacksonville Jaguars front, so here's some news from around the division.
Chris Johnson: "I Feel Just Like LeBron James" - Music City Miracles
It is good to have Chris Johnson around because he gives us something to talk about when the news is slows. Yesterday on the Jim Rome show, CJ said that he feels like LeBron James after his down year last year (via PFT): In the same interview Johnson went on to talk about how he still plans on becoming the only player to rush for 2,000 yards twice:
It always seems to start out with a simple question. The NFL’s Twitter account asked, "Are the @houstontexans the team to beat in the AFC?" Their talking heads debated it in a short 1:46 minute video. I know there are a lot of high expectations here, but I started to wonder if the Texans actually are THE team to beat in the AFC.
Andrew Mishler wrote a good, fair piece on Jerry Hughes a couple of weeks ago. Bottom line: This is it for him. If we don't see something along the lines of 5 sacks, 30 tackles, and maybe a couple of forced fumbles from the former first round pick in 2012, he will not be a Colt the following season. Hell, if he struggles in preseason, I wouldn't be surprised to see him cut.
