The Jacksonville Jaguars officially announced on Thursday morning at a press conference that former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor will be inducted into the Pride Of The Jaguars on September 30th during the team's week-four matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. Taylor will join Tony Boselli and former owners Wayne and Delores Weaver in the Pride Of The Jaguars in EverBank Field.
Taylor spent 11 seasons with the Jaguars and finished up his time in the NFL with a short stint on the New England Patriots, retiring with 11,695 career rushing yards. Taylor ranks as the 15th-leading rusher in NFL history, with 11,695 career rushing yards, and he became the 21st player in NFL history to rush for 10,000 yards in his career. Taylor made just one Pro Bowl in his career, 2007, but rushed for over 1,000 yards in 7 of his 11 seasons with the Jaguars.
"This is amazing. I don't have a single regret," Taylor said about his NFL career.
