The Jags QB's can't be too excited about MJD potentially missing camp. While we can all agree that MJD can figure out the difference between a 2 and a 3 gap, a draw and a trap, there is still one lingering issue that can very well affect the outcome of games. Pass Protection.
What happens when opponents (inevitably) blitz the holy mess out of Blaine Gabbert? Will MJD properly pick up the blitz? I really really hope so. But this is a new offense, with a new coach, new plays and new terminology. As Pacino famously stated. Football, like life, is a game of inches. One step too slow or too fast, and you don't quite make it.
