Compare and Contrast: BCC's 'Top 25' vs. 'Top 25'

Adam suggested the idea in the final post of Jpon's last entry to his list of the 'Top 25 Greatest Jaguars of All Time', or so I believe that was when it was. I thought it was a good idea too, so I decided to take the time to make it a reality. Since this is BCC, I will put Jpon's list first followed by the one on So here we go.

As could be expected, there are notable differences between each list. For alll those who aren't familiar with the list on, it has the input of 8 local media members, all who I don't know the name of and I'm not going to take the time to go and look up who they are. The list is very recent, so if interested, you'd only have to go two pages back inot their archive to see their entire list. It is broken up between 5 pages, and of course, each page has a list of 5 players. Instead of an in-depth explanation, like the one Jpon provided for each player, all is given is an overview of that said players career stats and brief explanation of what made that player unique. I'd encourage anyone who hasn't seen it to give it a look before it gets buried with all the news that is about to flood the site starting with the beginning of training camp tomorrow. They are all good reads and worth the effort, if you ask me.

So what say you? Between the two lists, are there any players that you think both lists excluded? Of course, there will always be differences between where everybody thinks each player should rank, as should be expected when making a list as such. I enjoyed both lists and think they were both welcomed additions to help us get through this dead zone that is nearing it's end. Kudos to Jpon and all those at for all of their efforts.
