Interesting quote from MJD

I was reading on CNNSI , which had a RB roundtable, which included AP, Michael Turner and MJD. When asked about whether they would let their sons play football, each responded. I found what MJD said to be particularly interesting.

"If you want to do something, it can be whatever you want. But you're going to finish it. To the very end." I know this is a bit out of context in regards to his contract dispute with the Jags, but I find it telling he would ask his sons to do this but he wouldn't. The article is about a week old but I felt it was pertinent to bring up for discussion in this realm. What do you guys think? Is MJD a bit of a hypocrite?
