The Denver Broncos and kicker, Matt Prater, came to an agreement to lift the franchise tag the team placed on him earlier this year. The deal was for 4 years, $13 Million, with $3 million guaranteed. This should pave the way for the Jaguars to get a deal done with Josh Scobee before the deadline on July 16th. Both sides should be thrilled because the they've been handed the framework for the deal on a silver platter. The field goal percentages, touch backs, and overall leg strength is very similar between these two kickers. Who says Gene Smith's job isn't easy?
