Reggie Corner To IR, Jaguars Sign Trumaine McBride

Stay connected for news and updates

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Reggie Corner was signed during the offseason as a late addition and didn't last very long in practice. On Saturday afternoon during one-on-one drills Corner went down after breaking up a pass and had to leave the football field. Today, the Jaguars have placed Corner on injured reserve with an ACL injury.

To replace Corner on the roster, the Jaguars have signed four-year veteran Trumaine McBride. McBride was originally drafted by the Chicago Bears in the seventh-round of the 2007 NFL Draft. McBride started nine games for the Bears in 2007 when the team was ravaged with cornerback injuries but started just one game after that season, ending up in IR during the 2009 season. After 2009, McBride spent some time with the Arizona Cardinals, New Orleans Saints, and now with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
