The Jacksonville Jaguars hit the field on Friday evening to take on the New York Giants in their first preseason game of the 2012 NFL preseason at EverBank Field. It will be the first look at second-year quarterback Blaine Gabbert for quite a few fans and a lot of media around the country, as well as a look at some of the new faces at the wide receiver position.
The Jaguars will also get to watch and see if second-round pick Andre Branch can make an impact on special teams and the battle between Aaron Ross and Rashean Mathis at the cornerback position.
