The Jaguars continue to tweak their roster as training camp and the pre-season keep moving along.

According to the Florida Times-Union's Vito Stellino, the team today claimed first year linebacker Nate Bussey off waivers from the New Orleans Saints, and waived wide receiver Charles Gilbert.

Bussey, 6'2 220 lbs., is a former 7th round draft pick of the Saints in 2011. He spent his rookie year as a member of the Saints practice squad. Bussey played four years for the University of Illinois, playing both linebacker and safety. His best performance came his senior season, where he finished with 48 tackles, a sack, and an interception. He received a "Honorable Mention" All-Big Ten honor for his play.

Gilbert was an undrafted rookie free agent signed after the team's rookie "Post-Draft Camp". He did little to stand out at receiver during camp, and the team even had him give cornerback a try, but he failed to raise any eyebrows.
