On Friday evening against the New York Giants, for the most part Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert had a nice evening, showing a lot of fans what they wanted to see. The real big problem however, was that the ball was turned over multiple times, including a sack/fumble by Gabbert.

"Yeah I just got to protect it. I got to feel them coming," Gabbert said on Monday after practice. "My internal time clock has to be going off, going off, just check the ball right down, but yeah I just got to keep two hands on the ball.

"There’s a lot of positives and that’s what we have to look at and kind of concentrate on but also we have to take care of the football," Gabbert said.

There was plenty of positive to take away from the game however, even after watching the film of the game. "I had one ball batted but for the most part," Gabbert said on Monday. "I missed Laurent (Robinson) on an out on the side line which was my fault, but other than that it was a good, positive outing. I’m just looking forward to keeping this thing rolling this week against the Saints."
