Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is still holding out, and reports have surfaced that it could last into the regular season in the past few weeks. After the first two preseason games, it doesn't seem like the Jaguars have really missed Jones-Drew all that much, so fans have become less and less concerned.

Jaguars owner Shad Khan doesn't seem very concerned, either.

"He's not here, and that's his decision," Khan told Yahoo! Sports. "Believe me, it's not a great concern. You hope for the best, and you plan for the worst. Our goals for the season don't change, and if he isn't here, he isn't here. I don't control it. It's his choice."

Khan told Yahoo! that he had met privately with Jones-Drew last month about the contract dispute.

"Believe me," Khan told Yahoo!'s Michael Silver, "on a zero-to-10 level of stress, this doesn't even move the needle."

The Jaguars can fine Jones-Drew $30,000 a day if they chose, which would bring his current grand total to around the $600,000 mark.
