The Jacksonville Jaguars have had a few injuries of the past few days in training camp, the big one being to offensive lineman Will Rackley, but suffered another blow on Thursday. Defensive end Austen Lane went down in individual drills mid-way through practice in a lot of pain, reaching for his foot/ankle area.

I didn't see the injury happen, I just saw him on the ground, but it didn't look good. It came during pass rushing drills off to the side and the trainers were working on his foot/ankle area after getting his cleats and socks off.

After some inspection, the trainers helped Lane up off the ground but he could not put any weight whatsoever on his right foot and was helped off the field, eventually being carted away towards the end of practice. Lane was having another nice training camp thus far, but once again has suffered an injury at a position that's important to the Jaguars in 2012.
