Giants Vs. Jaguars Injury Report: New York To Sit 11 Players

Stay connected for news and updates

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without a few players on Friday evening when they welcome in Tom Coughlin and the New York Giants to open up the 2012 NFL preseason. Offensive lineman Will Rackley and Jason Spitz are definitely going to be out, dealing with lower leg injuries. The team will also be without defensive lineman Austen Lane who injured his foot late last week in practice.

The New York Giants will also be without nearly a dozen players on Friday night as the team plans to sit 11 players.

DT Chris Canty (knee/PUP), WR Hakeem Nicks (foot/PUP), LBs Clint Sintim (knee/PUP), Michael Boley (hamstring), Jacquian Williams (hip) and Jake Muasau (hamstring), CB Terrell Thomas (knee), LT Will Beatty (back), TE Travis Beckum (knee/PUP), RB Da'Rel Scott (thigh) and DE Justin Trattou (ankle).

The Giants will be without some key players like Canty, Nicks, Sintim, Boley, Beatty, and Thomas which should assist the Jaguars in how they "look" on Friday evening, which is very important. They'll still have all those damn pass rushers, though.
