Officiating turning me off.

After the last two prime time games and having to suffer through that horrific Jets vs Dolphins debacle on TV (no Jags game where I am), unless the Jags are on, I'm not going to go out of my way and schedule to watch NFL games. It's not even getting the calls right or wrong as much as there is no good flow anymore.

The refs do seem to get most of the calls right after conference but they have to have way too many damn conferences. The games are plodding along way too slowly with way too many unnecessary interruptions of flow while the officials try to figure out if they are doing it right. It is making the product an unwatchable mess. Hell, I would rather watch a game called by an ACC crew at this point and I know they suck but at least they can usually keep the game moving and don't have to continually consult on the finer points of the rules.

I know the editors here seem to see no difference between the replacements and the regular. I think Las Vegas disagrees based on how they are massaging the line with more home points and I am sure the TV networks who are getting their schedules blasted by the extended time it is taking to finish these things aren't happy either. It may take the networks complaining about this to the league to get something done. It is not just that they get the calls right. They need to get the calls right and keep the game moving. They are abject failures in the latter condition.
