I'm hammering these out now like it's my job.
.
Front Office:
General Manager: Tom Gamble
Head Coach: Lovie Smith
Offensive Coordinator: Norv Turner
Defensive Coordinator: Jim Tomsula
.
Lovie Smith is a really good coach. He's a defensive coach, and the reason he ended up getting fired is mostly because his offenses were never very good. But he's a defensive coach, he went through 4 offensive coordinators in 6 years, he couldn't find a good OC for the Bears. Tom Gamble finds him a good offensive coordinator in Norv Turner, who developed Troy Aikman, and turned a terrible offense, into a top 10 offense in Dallas. He's a great offensive mind, and may finally be the Offensive Coordinator Lovie Smith always wanted. Tom Gamble pulls the defensive line coach from his former team the 49ers and makes him the defensive coordinator. This means the Jaguars switch to the 3-4, but will have some 4-3 looks as well.

TRADE: Jaguars trade Maurice Jones-Drew to Green Bay Packers for 4th round pick.
Jaguars release Aaron Ross.
TRADE: Jaguars trade Chad Henne to New York Jets for 5th round pick.
In September it was reported that the Jaguars salary cap was at 28.7 million. The Jaguars traded Mike Thomas saving 1.45 million. They also waived Clint Session, saving 4.7 million. So in the beginning of this offseason the Jaguars should have been at about 34.85 million in cap space. Trading MJD saved about 4, trading Henne saved 2. And released Ross saved another 2.
