Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts has been medically cleared from his concussion, which prematurely ended his 2012 season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars 2012 season is over, but if the team had to play a game on Sunday Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts III would be available. In a radio interview on Sports Final Radio on 1010XL Thursday morning, Shorts informed the hosts that he's feeling great and was medically cleared on Wednesday when asked about how he was feeling.

Shorts was knocked out of the Jaguars loss to the New England Patriots after a hit from a Patriots game knocked him unconscious and ended his 2012 season, suffering his second concussion. Shorts ended the season just short of the 1,000 yard mark, as he was trying to be the first Jaguars receiver to do so since Jimmy Smith's final season.

Shorts finished 2012 with 55 receptions for 979 yards with 7 touchdown receptions, leading the Jaguars in the latter two categories. Shorts was one of the few bright spots in the Jaguars 2-14 season.
