Chargers vs. Jaguars 2013: Second half game thread

The Jacksonville Jaguars continued their streak of futility at home in the first half of Sunday's Week 7 game against the San Diego Chargers, digging a 14-3 hole in the first half.

Unlike previous weeks, it was the defense struggling to much of anything for the Jaguars, as the Chargers easily drove the field on a pair of 80-yard drives that lasted 10 and 13 plays. The combination of Ryan Mathews and Danny Woodhead found plenty of running room, while Philip Rivers had plenty of time to observe the field for open receivers as he finished the half 15-of-17 passing for 172 yards.

For the Jaguars, moments of decent-looking offense were nullified by three sacks of quarterback Chad Henne. While the offensive line, particularly left tackle Cameron Bradfield, obviously deserve blame, Henne didn't do them many favors, including taking a sack on a screen pass.

Through 10 quarters played at EverBank Field in 2013, the Jaguars have been outscored at home 79-8.
