Chargers vs. Jaguars final score: Jacksonville dominated at home...again, 24-6

Chad Henne accumulated over 300 yards passing for the Jaguars, but the Jaguars had only six points to show for it.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are one step closer to the first overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft after an embarrassing, 24-6, showing against the visiting San Diego Chargers in Week 7.

While 24 points allowed by the Jaguars were the second-fewest allowed all season, Sunday may have been their worst showing. The Chargers offense, led by quarterback Philip Rivers, was able to do whatever it wanted, whenever it wanted.

Running back Ryan Mathews managed 110 yards on 21 carries and was complimented by 29 yards rushing on nine carries from Danny Woodhead. Rivers didn't have much trouble leading the team down the field either with 22-of-26 passes completed for 285 yards and a touchdown.

On offense, the Jaguars did a decent job moving the ball with Chad Henne completing 23-of-33 passes for 318 yards, including five receptions for 120 yards from Mike Brown, who entered the day with five career receptions for 63 yards. Maurice Jones-Drew also had a decent showing, despite only accumulating 37 yards on nine carries.

At the end of the day though, Henne again racked up yardage and garbage time stats without putting points on the board to show for it. He walked into crucial sacks in big plays and couldn't shake the team's offensive production woes.

The Jaguars will next travel to London where they will play host to the San Francisco 49ers in the team's debut in the NFL International Series.
