49ers vs. Jaguars: Second half game thread

Michael Regan

Welp. That's all...just welp.

Well, the Jaguars are bad everybody. The offense is bad, the defense is bad, the special teams are bad. It's all bad.

The San Francisco 49ers had absolutely no problem scoring touchdowns on each of their first four drives of the game, while the Jaguars struggled to accumulate any yardage on offense. Quarterback Chad Henne certainly didn't justify the team's decision to bench Blaine Gabbert, as he wasn't able to do anything for the team before a drive late in the second quarter that netted the team a 38-yard field goal from Josh Scobee to get on the scoreboard.

Defensively, the Jaguars weren't able to pressure Colin Kaepernick or stop the 49ers rushing attack. The team drove the field at will, doing whatever they want, whenever they want.

In a season in which the Jaguars lost each of their first seven games, the 28-3 score is the team's largest halftime deficit of the year.

So....enjoy the second half.
